Knut Fredrik Idestam, born 28.10.1838 Tyrväntö, died 8.4.1916 Helsinki. Parents: Gustaf Idman (later Idestam when adpoted by his uncle), mining official, and Anna Sofia Trapp. Wife: 1865 - 1916 Maria Rosina Krook, died 1925, wife's parents: Major-General Carl August Krook and Hilda Holm.
